For twenty-five years, I worked as a nurse.

I spent my days caring for others, helping people through difficult moments and doing everything I could to make them feel a little better.

But whenever my husband Tom and I travelled to Golden Bay during our holidays, I felt something different. The moment we arrived and saw those beautiful beaches, mountains and peaceful surroundings, I felt at home.

Eight years ago, everything changed.

After years of working as a nurse, I decided it was finally time to follow a dream of my own. A small boutique in Golden Bay came up for lease, and Tom looked at me across the kitchen table.

He didn't have to say a word.

I knew this was my moment.

We moved to Golden Bay, and that same year I opened the doors of Diane's Golden Bay for the very first time.

What started as a small dream became eight of the most beautiful years of my life. I loved meeting the women who walked through those doors, helping them find something that made them feel confident, comfortable and beautiful.

Now I'm sixty-four, and it's time to close this chapter.

Not because something went wrong.

Quite the opposite.

Because something went beautifully right.

I've built memories here that I will carry with me forever, but I know when it's time to begin a new chapter.

So this is my final collection.

Every piece in this boutique was chosen with a real woman in mind. Not just something that looks beautiful on a hanger, but something that makes you look in the mirror and think:

"Yes. This feels like me."

That has always been the heart of Diane's Golden Bay.

Now, everything must go.

My final collection. My final sale. My thank you to every woman who has supported me over these eight wonderful years.
